All good but you really need to warn people (in advance in the welcome pack ) about the bedroom doorway being so low and perhaps put up some cheap flashing lights ( I’m very serious) Also the lack of extraction or an opening window in the bathroom was not good A tad thin on the cutlery to be honest Other than that it was a brilliant location and a really solid well equipped house. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and we had a great time We would happily book again

The cottage was disappointing upon arrival as although the surrounding environs had been looked after with lawns cut and made to look attractive none of the outside areas had been cut. Hedges and borders of the property looking toward the loch were so high that there was no view if sitting in the rear garden. It was as if the cottage was an after-thought. Most of the attention seemed focussed on the busy boat hire business adjacent the cottage. The cottage itself was basic but had everything needed and was comfortable.

Lovely, cosy comfortable cottage. We visited in February when it was quiet and peaceful - I'm sure it's busier and perhaps not so quiet in the boating season asthere is a boat hire business on site. Sheila and Andy are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are no shops immediately in the vicinity but a trip to Fort William and Morrisons, M&S and Aldi is an easy journey to stock up if needed. We found some great walks for our 2 dogs along the Great Glen Way in both directions. A cruise on Loch Ness from Fort Augustus was interesting and enjoyable and well worth the fare. We were lucky to be there in one of the warmest Februarys on record. We'll definitely be back.
