Beautiful views, very hospitable host, very cosy for the size, very windy and narrow roads to the cottage (wouldnt like to go in the winter). Loved the log burner, lots of books and games to keep you amused. No wifi but was nice to get away from social media for a couple of days x

The cottage was lovely and cosy, the host was helpful and friendly and advised us on where to get something to eat in the town. The setting of the cottage was beautiful, lots of open countryside, the only down for the location of the cottage was that the roads to access it were extremely narrow and I would not have liked to have come across a car coming in the opposite direction! The town of Llandrindod Wells was a disappointment, it was extremely quiet, even on a Saturday night, there weren’t many places to eat or drink and it seemed slightly run down which was a shame. Also, none of the places to eat were open on the Sunday evening so we were happy that we ate before we returned back to Llandrindod Wells.

The area, the building the view was lovely. Well equipped cottage. But the smell from the toilet, nearly made us leave, we spent most of our time in the garden room with great views and very comfortable. But the smell from the toilet, I could smell all over the cottage. I thing it must have been leaking , as the pot moved as you were sat on it. Also. The drinking water was brown at first for around 4 days. We tried leaving it on to clear it we even went and bought bottled water. It cleared 2 days before we went home. Also there were dog hairs on the mats in the bathroomand in living room. The kitchen upboards smelt musty too. Neds a good clean. Instead of just sweeping floors in between guests, it need a vacum floors washing. And bathroom mats changing for freshly laundered ones.

Absolutely loved our 7 night stay in pollys cottage. Tesco is a 12 min drive away and the cottage itself has so much character. Be careful on the stairs! The log/coal fire was so lovely and fairly cheap to keep going. The owners were wonderful people who kept themselves to themselves but were helpful when we needed it and welcoming. The view from the bedroom and back door is simply stunning! Google maps took us to the top of the drive. The road to the cottage from llandridnod wells is fairly scary to drive on I wouldn't recommend taking it on in the dark but this did not hamper our enjoyment of the place. I would highly recommend it to anyone. A truly beautiful and peaceful place with plenty of local walks starting from the lake in the town. Although it's a working farm it's not noisy in the slightest and the owners dog is lovely.

The most chilled out few days spent here. It was everything we hoped for and more. Beautiful piece of paradise on a working farm (delightful mud). Philip & Suzanne were welcoming, friendly & allowed us to explore wherever we liked. Super dog friendly allowing our rescue mastiff dog her first holiday, meeting pup pals in their Collie, Scottie & the other holiday makers Labrador, Denzel. Xx
