A brilliant apartment in a lovely location. Beautifully furnished and decorated with everything you could possibly need. We had a wonderful family break away here.

Ironmasters House is ideally situated for a stay in Longbridge. The property is stunning, spotlessly clean with all the equipment you would need. Ironmasters House is situated directly opposite the Iron Bridge, which sadly was being refurbished, so we didn't have the view from the windows that we were expecting. The noise early in the morning from the sandblasting was a bit of a pain and the work in progress, we were told by locals, is expected to take until the end of the year. I feel that people booking this property, or any other in Ironbridge, with a visit to the bridge in mind should be notified about it being totally covered and not possible to be seen. I feel that they could be very disappointed if not made aware of this. Going back to the property: it is fantastic and warm welcome awaits you.

Response on behalf of the owner; So glad you made it to Ironbridge through the snow. Thank you for all your lovely comments about the Ironmasters House. We have had mixed responses regarding the works on the bridge which are due to be finished by September 2018. There has been much publicity on the work being done which has attracted visitors to view the unusual sight of the bridge wrapped plastic. A viewing platform has now been erected and from the end of March visitors will be able to walk along the platform to view the bridge close up which will be quite an attraction in itself. I hope you will be able to come back to Ironbridge to view the bridge in all its glory once refurbed.

lovely cottage, clean and well equipped, we were disappointed that we couldn't see the actual bridge, as there is sandblasting for the next 12 months. excellent location, though parking issues.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your response. I am glad you thought the property was lovely. There is some renovation work on the bridge at the present which in itself is creating a lot of interest with press and media coverage. You can see up close the works that are happening with pictorial images of what they are trying to accomplish, its quite interesting. The bridge is covered in a wrap to protect workers and site seers alike. There is talk of scaffolding being erected to allow visitors to see up close parts of the bridge that are not usually visible. Not too sure how long the works are going to last. You mentioned parking issues, not too sure what they were as we have our own lock up car park for all of our guests so always plenty of free parking in Iron bridge. If you didn't use our car park you will have encountered issues as parking is of a premium here in the village. Hope see you again, come back to see the bridge in all its glory.

In an excellent location, Ironmasters House was ideal for a long weekend break. It’s very well equipped and feels like a home not a holiday cottage. Having a private car parking space not too far away was great as car parking is at a premium on the main street. We arrived late on Friday evening but it wasn’t a problem when I emailed the owner to tell her. She emailed me instructions and let me know how to get to the property. The weekend we were there was particularly warm for the time of year. This meant that there were plenty of people sitting outside the hotel next door until quite late at night. As the windows are single glazed we could hear all conversations outside. It didn’t spoil the weekend tho. We had a great weekend.

Response on behalf of the owner. So glad you enjoyed your stay at the Ironmasters House. As we are in a conservation area and opposite the Ironbridge we are not allowed to change the windows but we are looking at alternatives in the future, however as you said you are in the heart of the village. Many thanks for the lovely comments, we hope to see you again in the near future.

What a wonderful place to stay. The property was beautifully presented and very well equipped with a great view of the ironbridge. Ironbridge is a place which provides plenty of things to do. My only regret is that this property does not accept dogs but given how it is presented I can understand this.

Response on behalf of the owner:- Hi Stephanie, Many thanks for your lovely comments. We don't except pets in this property but we do in our other Ironbridge properties which you can find on Cottages.com. Hope to see you again in the future. Jayne
