We had a very nice 4 nights stay in Ingledew Cottage. The cottage is quite compact but this not bother us as we were only 2 people. The accommodation is spread over 3 stories with the , kitchen, utility room and lounge at the middle level up a flight of 13 steps to the front door access. The Cottage is clean, well maintained and contains everything you need with regards to equipment. The location is ideal being approx. 200m from the town square of Richmond. The cottage backs to the walls of Richmond Castle and fronts to a narrow street/public walkway which is not ideal and generally requires some reversing to and from the dedicated parking area. This did not cause us any problems and the neighbours were very nice. Excellent views over Richmond.

My parents and I had a fabulous weekend break at the cottage. It was everything we’d hoped for and more. We found it to be quirky, clean, well equiped, comfortable and had a great location in equal measure. We would have no hesitation in recommending staying here to anyone and if we happen to be back in Yorkshire we’d definitely choose to stay again. Our host Iain, although we never met, was most welcoming and gave is all the information we required regarding the cottage and surrounding area over the phone. If you are reading this and swithering about making a booking ... don’t .... just book it! ... you wont be disappointed!.

Ingledew cottage enjoys an idyllic setting and surpassed our expectations. It is a perfect place to escape to for some relaxation. We were lucky enough to have great weather and were able to eat all meals in the patio with the beautiful views. The cottage was spotlessly clean, incredibly well equipped and the bed linen luxurious. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone.

We had a fabulous holiday. The cottage was first class and to a very high standard with beautiful crockery bedding etc. I would highly recommend this cottage . The garden was beautiful with fantastic views. Richmond is a delightful place with plenty to do and see. I would recommend a visit to Richmond Castle - very interesting. The sun shone for the entire week so all in all it was fantastic. cant wait to go back

Lovely cottage everything you need and more, only slight down side was the parking you need to be confident to reverse in or out of a tight space and the steps maybe difficult if you have mobility issues. But they were only minor issues and due to its unique location which was fantastic
