Another great stay in the warm and cosy Hurdlemakers Loft. Well equipped, clean and comfortable with beautiful country walks just out the back of the property across the allotments. Many places of interest to visit nearby, including Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick and some wonderful National Trust properties, my favourite being Charlecote Manor.

Comfortable stay in the warm and cosy Hurdlemakers Loft. With Shipston-on-Stour being the closest town, plenty of places for a good meal out. Visited several NationalTrust houses, including Charlecote Park and Upton House (which is probably the closest). A fabulous day trip to Oxford and all the city has to offer! All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful spot with views over allotments and fields. Modern, clean and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Nice welcome pack too. Unfortunately we had to cut our time short because of a family emergency. So only experienced one night instead of three.

There was a delightful welcome pack on arrival (bread, butter, beer and honey). The bread was crusty and tasty (I presume it came from the local artisan baker in the village). The kitchen had all the equipment, etc., that we needed and, when required, a flat-screen TV with satellite programs and a DVD player. The small verandah outside ahd a table and chairs, which we were able to utilise whilst enjoying the view over the allotments to the hills beyond as well as a glass of wine. The bed and bedroom were comfortable as was the living space. We had a lovely time there and would recommend it.

Amazing property, one of the nicest self catering properties we've stayed in. We had fantastic weather during our August bank holiday stay so ate outside in the garden or used the balcony. Peaceful location but not too far from some nice days out, National Trust properties in the area, 40mins drive away to the Cotswalds and 25 mins to Banbury which is a nice town. We parked there and took train to Oxford for the day, £14 return for both of us. We will definitely return. Mary Jayne is a nice host and she left us a welcome tray of honey, beer and bread from the local bakery. Thanks also for the bottle of fizz in the fridge! The only thing we didn't have with us was bikes, so to have some mountain bikes at the property to loan was the only thing that was missing for us as their is a bike shed.
