House was fantastic, good layout we didn't feel that we were all on top of each other. Kitchen is fab with a great big table big enough for everyone. Location is great if you want your own privicy. The wee spring lambs in the field adjacent to the garden made the trip.

Beautiful house which was ideal for our 3 families and the dog. Lovely touches such as fresh milk on arrival and soap etc in the bathrooms was really welcome. Beds were comfortable with lovely pillows and crisp cotton bedding. The kitchen is really spacious and we spent most of our time together around the Aga but there is also a large comfortable lounge . Having a castle a short walk from the doorstep was great and the views from the castle amazing. The Scottish borders were a lovely revelation - so much history, picturesque surroundings, lovely walks, fabulous beaches and really friendly locals. The train station is a 30 minute drive and provides a quick and cheap way to visit Edinburgh for the day without having to worry about parking - parking at the station is free, actually all parking was free. Lovely house, great area would really recommend.
