Hope cottage is spotlessly clean offering everything you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Just a couple of minutes walk to the beach and parks. Shops are easily within walking distance too offering two well known supermarkets as well as a quaint high street. Restaurants are close by and a fish and chip shop at the end of the street. We loved our stay in the cottage and will definitely be returning.

Pretty and well equipped cottage. It was a cold weekend when we first arrived (snow!), and we enjoyed the being able to light the log-burner in the sitting room. It is in a good position in Hythe - an easy walk to both the beach and the town. And there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, though we were a little out of season - NT & English Heritage properties, walks with the dog, welcoming pubs and at the weekend a ride on the miniature steam railway (dogs go free). The railway opens all week just after we left - it goes to Dungeness, a strange and bleak landscape that rather appealed to us, in spite of the biting wind on the day we went. Enjoyed our stay!

Hope Cottage was a lovely place to stay. It was very well equipped and comfortable and so close to the beach and promenade. Lots of places to eat close-by. If we are in that area again will definately try to stay there again.

We were greeted by the friendly owners on arrival. The cottage is closer to the sea than the town, very convenient for someone wanting quick beach access. Not so convenient for food shopping. It's very attractively decorated, with lots of special touches. The bathroom is large and attractive. Bedroom size is adequate and kitchen relatively spacious and well equipped. Lounge furniture is somewhat old and not very comfortable.
