Situated above the owner’s home and lying in the stunning English county of Herefordshire, the hamlet of Perton lies close to the village of Stoke Edith. With far reaching views across Herefordshire to the Black Mountains and the Malvern Hills, this two bedroom former hop kiln is the perfect place to relax in or explore the countryside, with the Brecon Beacons and the Wye Valley both nearby. The two bedrooms are in a unique part of the house, in the hop kiln tower. The cathedral city of Hereford is just 6 miles away where you’ll discover local history and historic architecture, the crystal waters of the River Wye and the vibrant centre of High Town. The market town of Ledbury, a place of poetry and culture, is 8 miles away at the foot of the Malvern Hills. Ross-on-Wye, a market town perched on a hill, is superb for independent shops and a 17th-century market house and is 14 miles away. A little further afield is Hay-on-Wye, a perfect place for bookworms with over 30 antique and second hand book shops and is famous for its annual book festival. There is a golf course 3½ miles from the property, and it is open to non-members. Fishing is 2½ miles away from the property. It is £7 for the day, £4 for half a day, £35 for a week. It is part of a campsite but fishing is open to everyone, so no licence is needed. The property is also in the same village as a major game shoot location ¾ mile away. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

The flat was very comfortable, recently furnished and nicely decorated. Kitchen was very well kitted out. Everything was of a very high standard. The location is good you are within easy reach of all the major towns and many local pubs. The owner couldn’t be more helpful. I would highly recommend it. Just be mindfull that there are steep stairs to the flat and no private garden only a small outdoor table & chairs
