A really carefully thought out, professionally run holiday cottage. It’s a charming building perfectly decorated and a wholly pleasurable place to stay. We will be back!

Fabulous cottage with well equipped kitchen. Beds very comfy, and decor to a high quality. Plenty of DVDs, games etc for a rainy day (although we were blessed with glorious weather). Nice area outside in gardens to sit and relax with your favourite tipple and meal. Lovely quiet location yet 5 minutes into Abergavenney. Key contact and arrangements very simple. Would highly recommend his cottage and hope to go back again another time.

A comfortable week at easter, everything you need is here. Our only complaint would be that the bed was too soft for us,our dog wasn't happy with the underfloor heating so we turned it off and the vacuum cleaner was a little feeble to clean up dog hair. That being said we would happily return.

Great cottage. Very clean and tidy. Looks newly decorated and modern -we loved the underfloor heating in the kitchen living room (the dog especially). The bedrooms were very well appointed and the beds comfortable. Two very good bathrooms and a lovely large walk in shower on the ground floor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. To find it at the dead of night you will need the helpful written instructions they provide so have those to hand. Thank you for a lovely stay. See you again. James

Lovely cottage, we had a great time during our stay. We would have prefered to have a slightly bigger dining table since it was quite small for 5 persons. The location, equipment, and quality is outstanding.

The cottage is ideal for a base to explore local area. This was originally booked due to it having a ground floor bedroom and wet room as one of our arty was wheelchair bound. Unfortunately or luckily they were unable to travel as had they done due to the gravel path which slopes steeply access to and from the cottage would've been impossible. The description states sloping garden, it makes no reference to gravel path or that this slopes steeply and thus makes disabled access very difficult. The description on website needs to be updated as with a wet room one would expect suitability for less abled persons. Had they travelled then our rating would've been 1/2 , but the high score does not take this issue into account & is based on those of us who actually travelled. Facilities in cottage were good & beds were comfy. Location made easy access to local area. Welcome pack was nice to find.

Response on behalf of the owner. Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your stay at Honeysuckle Cottage and that the property fitted the bill so well for you as a base to explore our beautiful local area. Our aim is to make each of our valued guests feel welcome and at home. However, the property has not been adapted to specifically cater for guests with restricted mobility / wheelchair users. The Cottage is advertised as having ground floor facilities as there is a bedroom and wet room on the ground floor.

Beautiful garden. A lot of thought has gone into the property. Bedrooms are good size. Living /kitchen/dining area a bit cramped for 5 adults but manageable.
