All on one level, Homer’s Cottage is ideal for those who wish to explore the miles of beautiful countryside surrounding you. The open plan living space has a small but well-equipped kitchen, a cosy wood burner for those colder evenings, and French doors leading onto the veranda with outdoor seating, perfect for a class of wine on those warm summer evenings. Just a few steps to the bedroom where you will find a kingsize bed and access to the bathroom. Beautifully landscaped, shared gardens wait to be explored or simply gazed over whilst having a meal al fresco on your private veranda.

The hilltop market town of Shaftesbury with the famous Gold Hill from the Hovis advert is a 20-minute drive away. There is also Stonehenge, Clarks shopping village in Street, and The Somerset Levels including Glastonbury Tor all within 45 minutes’ drive. Also a 20 minutes’ drive away is the town of Bruton with the famous Hauser and Wirth gallery (free entry). For keen golfers, there is a choice of courses within a 10 mile radius of the property.
With easy access to both the A30 and the A303, there is something to suit everyone within a short drive. Further afield you have the towns and cities of Bath, Bristol, Taunton, Exeter, Salisbury, Poole and Bournemouth, the Dorset and Somerset coasts and The New Forest. Perfectly located close to two world-famous facilities who have had their own TV shows! Longleat Safari park is a 30-minute drive, and Monkey World is under an hour; they make fantastic educational day trips.
