We had a lovely stay in a great little cottage. The location was perfect and right by Spout hill which was perfect for our dogs. Having a washer/dryer was a big hit as it meant that muddy towels were soon washed. The cottage was well equipped, warm and very comfortable - aptly named!

wonderful cottage that didn't say no to dogs. Fantastic fields just behind cottage, we could walk before breakfast for quick bit of exercise (for the dog), then travel on to other locations in area with happy canine. Cottage warm, cosy, all we wanted. Thank you.

the only reason we will not be returning is that the sofas were too soft for us. One of us has a back problem and the other arthritis of the knees so the sofas were not suitable for us. But for anyone else it would be great. Would recommend to friends without arthritic knees and back problems

Such a good location. We made it 70 steps to the High Street, so convenient. WiFi was a real bonus as our mobiles did not work in Holt. Only thing that would have improved things would have been a fan in the bathroom.

Good cottage in a great location. Very clean, although a little basic. Main bedroom is great, but the 2nd bedroom is let down by the storage - fine for our 2 small children but wouldn't be suitable for 2 adults and their belongings. Bathroom is a good size but as there was no decent storage, we had to use the window sill, which meant walking across the wet floor if one of us had used the shower (it's a wet room so there isn't a shower cubicle). There is room to put a free standing unit on the floor or a few shelves on the wall and either of these options would have made a big difference. Also, the sink is tiny. The bathroom would be the reason we wouldn't return, which is a shame as the rest of the cottage was fine.

The cottage was lovely, recycling facilities would have been nice and I think the shower rose needs descaling.

The only negatives are no wardrobe in second bedroom. it would have been ideal with a small wardrobe with drawers at the bottom instead of set of drawers. also a long mirror could be fitted inside wardrobe door. Bedside cabinet in second bedroom would have been good instead of lamp on window sill. Shower not very powerful.Kettle is a must have.
