A fantastic cottage I a beautiful location. Everything you need and more. Very clean and comfortable. Spacious. Welcome goodies were very welcome, thank you. Shame about the rain but no one can do anything about that. Would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

Great property in a lovely location. Good base for exploring local area and further with relative ease. Cottage has everything you could possibly need and was very comfortable. Shop and pub very close and very useful! Would love to return soon. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

The accommodation was really nice, the kitchen is beautiful and very well equipped, a very cosy lounge, and 3 nice bedrooms. The back garden or courtyard was small and dark, but you do have the alternative of the sitting area and BBQ at the front of the property that over looks the fields, but this is off the private road/track that runs in front of the barn. We enjoyed our stay here, but for us it was a little to far out. The village is 5 minutes walk, the local pub sells nice food and the local spar also has a takeaway service. Would recommend a stay here, but be prepared to drive.

The pictures don't give this beautiful rustic but modern spacious cottage justice. Best place we've ever stayed. So glad we found it! Location at the quiet village is lovely with supermarkets and town amenities in nearby 10min drive Liskeard. Not a bad word to be said!

Absolutely loved this place and the 4 young children loved it to especially how spacious it was. Location obviously not brilliant for families with young children as we had to travel out all the time, it was no big problem though as we had this amazing house to come back to , to chill and relax and make some lovely dinners. Their is no expense spared with this property from the furniture, pictures, ornaments, TV, towels , utensils, bedding, etc etc, all very good quality stuff including toys and games n dvds, and we as a family just felt at home straight away and did not want to leave. All I can say is don't think about staying here just do it , you will not regret it ,,, on our 3rd day I met the owner and said jokingly that the only thing wrong was we had no Proseco glasses , we went out that day to come back to Proseco glasses on our doorstep, a massive thank you for making our holiday complete ..... the leech n Platt clan alias the Griswaldes 😁😀😁

A well equipped and comfortable cottage although the beds were a little firm for my preference. As a base for touring this is good but the large tree at the front and the huge bamboo forest at the back make the interior dark and the garden areas shaded. however we would consider returning as it is quite spacious and dog friendly and the lane is virtually traffic free.

Fabulous house. Very clean and well equipped. The house was freshly decorated, all equipment, linen and towels new and great quality. The house is 5 minutes walk to a large spar which has a fantastic and reasonably priced extensive takeaway service. Next to that is a very friendly pub which also does excellent food - huge Sunday roasts are just £6.95! My only suggestion would be that the tree at the front of the house could do with being cut back as it makes the lounge very dark.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely village. Cottage is really spacious and comfortable with great quality fittings. Only small downsides were the garden was small and the crows woke us up at dawn each morning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hollywell Barn. It was very comfortable and an ideal location for exploring this part of Cornwall with good routes to the coast and inland. The only negative comment we had was the access on the main road from the cottage road was extremely difficult to navigate as it was impossible to see either way without moving right out into the main road. A mirror to see the road would be a very helpful addition.
