This is an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds and its many honey-coloured villages, including Broadway, Chipping Campden, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. Also close by is Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare; Regency Cheltenham, famous for its many festivals; the waterfront city of Gloucester, and the Royal Forest of Dean, which offers many activities for all the family. Village shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
