This beautifully furnished, upside-down lodge is situated close to Newton Abbot and with amazing views across the rolling Devon hills and Dartmoor. Set within the grounds of the owner’s home, this spacious detached property has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with patio doors leading to a small balcony with table and chairs, perfect for that glass of wine as the sun sets. Look out for deer and wildlife in the nearby fields. There is also a wood burner so it is ideal for all year round holidays. The hot tub is on the decking just outside the main bedroom. The heated outdoor swimming pool, is available from April to August (September on request).

Highland View is situated not too far from Dartmoor National Park where you can walk the tors, take up letterboxing, feed the ponies or stop in one of the many quaint villages to have a Devon cream tea. There are also many National Trust properties close by. Close to the A380 which is perfect if you want to visit Exeter or Plymouth, or take a trip to Paignton, Torquay and Brixham. There are so many cycle routes close by, and Haldon Forest Park has an off-road cycle route, perfect for families. Sandy beaches are also within 6 miles including Shaldon and Teignmouth. There are many places for families including Crealy Theme Park and Woodlands Family Theme Park. Beach 6 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
