A really lovely cottage with beautiful views. Very comfortable beds, sofa and fully equipped kitchen. The pub at the bottom of the road was great. There was parking but a few other cars kept parking there and it was difficult to manoeuvre in and out sometimes! Also if there was WiFi at the cottage that would be great 😃

Wonderfully cosy little cottage, a few minutes from the centre of Hathersage. The Scotsman Pack a moment away from the cottage with good pub food and a reasonable selection of real ales, friendly neighbours and good walks from the doorstep. The kit shop in the village, Outside, is brilliant and their upstairs café well worth a visit. Cottage is well equipped and having a washing machine is really handy given some of the muddy walks we went on. Whilst the mattress in the master bedroom has seen better days, we'd certainly stay here again.

This is one of the most attractive cottages we have stayed in. It has lovely original features - flagged floor and stone fireplace - combined with modern comforts. Very warm, good shower, well-equipped kitchen. It's beautifully located, with good walking and sightseeing on the doorstep and a nice pub in strolling distance. We don't drive, so being able to get there on the train and go out and about on buses was useful. Also Tesco delivers! I agree with other comments that the mattress in the main bedroom could be more comfortable. And in a perfect world there would be a dishwasher and a real log-burning stove, but those are minor points.
