This cosy and comfortable holiday cottage is in a peaceful, isolated location, a superb area for walkers and nature lovers.

If you are looking for a holiday home in an idyllic setting offering peace and tranquillity, Highbrook Cottage is just the perfect place. Surrounded by woodland and shrubs, and approached by a farm track along the side of a field, this isolated cottage is ideal for a romantic break in the country.
This cottage is perfect for a holiday at any time of the year with the ever changing scenery. Make the most of the summer months and light up the barbecue and while away the sunny days in the lovely garden. Enjoy a break in the autumn when the lush greenery of the surrounding woodlands changes to a spectacular display of autumnal colours. If you are a nature lover and enjoy walking, Highbrook Cottage is set between Radnor Forest and Offa’s Dyke Path which is one of Britain’s many National Trails.
There is a charming kitchen with light oak units and a dining area where you can dine and plan the next day’s adventures. The living room has views over the countryside and boasts exposed stone walls and beams, and the wood burner sets the scene for a cosy evening in with a glass of your favourite wine. When you are ready to retire for the evening you will find two lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds, perfect for a restful night’s sleep in preparation for a fabulous day ahead.
Llandrindod Wells, with its Victorian Architecture and Hay-on-Way, known as ‘the town of Books’, are well worth a visit. With the stunning countryside of mid Wales on your doorstep, what could be better. Very much a home from home, Highbrook Cottage offers delightful accommodation in a peaceful countryside setting.

Living room with fire in stone hearth and surround, overlooking a stream and fields. Kitchen/dining room with fitted light-oak units. Bathroom with over-bath power shower and toilet. Steepish stairs to first floor: Large double bedroom. Smaller double bedroom. Landing area.

Wonderful, complete peace and isolation once you are in the cottage. Everything you need is there and the owners are lovely.

The cottage was very peaceful and private. It was very clean but compact. Cozy is a very good word to describe it. There was a lovely welcome awaiting our arrival with lots of goodies - the welsh cakes were amazing! It isn’t very big but that just added to the charm of the place and we found it easily big enough for 4 adults. The stairs are steep but if you use common sense they are safe. Everything we needed was at hand and we felt very comfortable and relaxed there. I had read there were spiders webs and spiders but we did not see any (though it wouldn’t have surprised us if we had seen any as you are in the middle of the countryside). I recommend this cottage if you want a private, peaceful, relaxing holiday in a quirky, cosy home from home cottage. The owner was very helpful too.
