We had the best time. The House was lovely the only downside was the size of the garden for the dogs. The rooms are on 7 levels which was very quirky. All in all great place to stay. 😁

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your kind review and really glad you enjoyed your time at the house. Seaside properties like ours often do have smaller gardens, hopefully your dogs had a good run around on the many beaches nearby.

We couldn't have been happier. My family (2 adults and 4 children) stayed in the High Seas House for 2 nights and 3 days, there was plenty of room and there was incredible attention to detail to make every aspect of our stay as comfortable and pleasant as it could've been. The living room had ample seating space for everyone and was fully equipped with a nice TV! The kitchen had everything you need to self cater including an induction hob, pots and pans, cutlery etc... Bonus points for the Newgate clock!! Although there is a dining area, we enjoyed eating outside in the courtyard, which is rather private and has outdoor heating! The host is very helpful and responsive, literally answering our questions within minutes. The house has on-site parking which was a deal clincher for us. It's located super close to the beach and has a convenience store at the end of the street. We look forward to returning next year. Couldn't be happier with our stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and had plenty of home comforts. As stated in the information when booking the stairs could be a problem for some people. But in general the property is well maintained. Very pleased.

The place looks exactly as shown in photos, beds were comfortable and lots of small attentions to details such as welcome hamper & board games. Quick replies from owner too.

Short brake with the in-laws. We stayed at the High Seas House for a long weekend in June. It was a lovely experience. The kitchen is well fitted out with everything you need, and if you do not feel like cooking, there are plenty of options close by. The beds were comfy and the whole house was spotless clean. The owner has put a lot of thought in a very handy folder with information on the house, equipment (e.g. dishwasher , etc.) and plenty of brochures containing information about the town and things to do around the area and the whole of Kent. The layout is great too, I loved the kitchen being on the low ground floor as it was cool and one could go and start on breakfast without waking up the house as 3 levels (dining, entry/living and bathroom) are between the kitchen and the first bedroom. Waitrose is only a 5 minute walk from the house, and the harbour and High Street about 10 minutes. But it was quite at night, which was super important to us. So super happy with the location. Parking space was available right next to the house which was favorable due to the one way streets and limited parking in the area. A little welcome basket with coffee pods and Co was provided, which was a nice surprise :-) One thing to note is that there is no AC, but small fans are provided in the bedrooms. When we stayed, we felt always comfortable in the house, but we did not stay during a super hot day. The stairs are steep and so maybe not best suited for people with issues walking up/down stairs in general. To mention here also is that there is a lovely private terrace / courtyard on the dining room level and that level and the kitchen were always cool. We also had our dogs with us and they settled in just fine. I would recommend this property and we will surely stay here again.

We had such a lovely time in Ramsgate at High Seas House! The quirky design of house is fun, very close to all amenities & everything is great quality throughout. Adjacent off-road parking space is brilliant, and a “must” given the tight parking in the area. The bathroom is very nice, with stand-alone bath and separate shower unit having rain & flexi facilities & a unique sunken patio off dining room area. We loved the comfy beds & TV with Netflix the kitchen is well appointed and looks new, everything was great and we felt at home during our stay.

What a lovely place to stay! The neighbourhood is really nice, quiet but with plenty of things to do and see very close by and only a short walk away from the harbour and beach. The house itself is lovely and spacious, with loads of character & thank you for the bottle of Prosecco! Ross was very responsive and helpful, and the whole check-in and check-out process was quick and convenient. I highly recommend it!
