Very nice cottage & good location, the owner very helpful , but you have to give a £50 deposit that you get back when the owner has walked all around the cottage while you wait like naughty children that you haven't damaged anything etc never had that before & we have rented dozens of cottages, rules underlined in red stuck everywhere , & he made it very clear we was not to leave our elderly dog alone in the cottage never been to a cottage where they didn't mind us going for a meal or shopping for a few hours, with all the rules & deposit & having to take our poor old everywhere with us made us feel uncomfortable for those reasons alone we wouldn't go back,

Very nice cottage. The apartment in a former barn which was rebuilt to a semi-detached cottage has a big living room with kitchen, a smaller sleeping room and a small bathroom. The doors of the sleeping room open directly to the court of the estate which is visible from the street. Big and comfortable bed, two separate blankets instead of a grand one would be nice. Bed linen and towels were provided. From the living room you can step into the backyard which some sitting furniture. The kitchen was very nice. Reading material (books, magazines, brochures...) are abundant. The two geese in the enclosure are loud and unfriendly ;-) but they keep quiet if you don't approach them too much. The exit from the property leads directly onto the narrow and busy road and is very poorly visible, so one must be careful when leaving the estate. The owner who lives in the house near the cottage was very friendly and courteous.

We really liked the the place as we like staying in a quiet places, with tranquility around. High House Cottage 1 is based in a perfect countryside where you can be relaxed and enjoy birdsong and waking up in the morning with the lovely breeze coming from the coast. The little garden needs a bit more attention but it is understandable that during a very hot period of time it is not possible to work in the garden. We loved Monti, lovely and handsome border coolly and two fantastic geese, which were keeping an eye on all our movements xxx
