We enjoyed our quaint cottage, set in a lovely village and we had a very comfortable week. Lovely towels, bed linen and breakfast with Wedgwood China. All appreciated. Loved the kind touches such as the array of books, coal for the fire and information about the area. Great for your dog but no garden so you have to walk down the road for smile stops. I would most likely stay there again in the future.

Lovely cottage - quite twee and quirky. Very clean and comfortable. Extremely dog friendly (we have 2 Golden Retrievers) with tiled and wooden floors. There are even towels and bowls if you need them. The beds are SO comfortable - we slept really well. We were aware that the water pressure would be low, but it was adequate enough for us. The courtyard garden is quite small but adequate to sit out in. There lots of information leaflets, OS maps and walking route information at the cottage. Skipton is a 10 minute drive away with a TI office and large supermarkets, individual shops, as well as 3 street markets per week. Lothersdale has a welcoming dog friendly pub with a lovely lawned beer garden. There is a play area for children in the village and also tennis courts. We noticed quite a lot of community events - pub quizzes, treasure hunts etc. Walks from the doorstep. We had a lovely time.
