A compact but we'll equipped cottage. Very quiet and in a lovely part of North Wales. The owners live next door and couldn't have been more helpful.

A gem of a cottage - very comfortable and well equipped, with lovely views. The owners are friendly, there's plenty of off-road parking and a lovely garden to explore. It's a great location for walking as it's only a few miles from Offa's Dyke, and also cycling, although it is very hilly round the cottage and Nannerch village, including the Cross Foxes pub is 1.5 miles away down (and therefore also up) a very steep and narrow road.

We loved our stay at Henfaes Bwthyn. The owner was lovely and welcoming and the well kept gardens and property are amazing - with a pink sunset each night. Close to two small towns, we loved driving down the small lanes and all that the area has to offer. The cottage is well equipped with all the kitchen things you need (we self catered) , great heating for colder weather and a tv for cosey nights. A great base to explore Snowdonia, the northern area of Wales and the River Dee. Special mention of the Cherry Pie Inn and their very welcoming staff - a lovely pub at the end of the road with a great outdoor area. We also loved getting to know the locals at The Cross Foxes - highly recommend both pubs for a pint after a day of rambling or trekking. We can't wait to come back, and thank you for our wonderful stay.
