We had a lovely stay at Heckingham Manor. The house was beautiful and a perfect size for four adults and four children. All the rooms were large and well equipped with everything you need. We would definitely visit again and would recommend to others.

Perfect stay. We wanted somewhere affordable that could squeeze 10 friends in for a reunion weekend and Heckingham surpassed our expectations. A beautiful home with comfortable bedrooms and living spaces and wonderfully isolated. We enjoyed a lovely 10 mile walk near the property and the owner was lovely. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to get away from everything in beautiful surroundings.

Had a fabulous week with the family, great walks and tour of the farm is a must. Total escapism from life, situated in the middle of farm land with amazing views, zero light pollution watching nature do it’s thing. The best place to just relax.

The house is absolutely beautiful - it has everything you will need. It is so child friendly, including the garden, which had the added extra of swings and a climbing frame :) The views are stunning - rolling countryside all around. We had a wonderful farm tour with Oliver, who was so informative, and amazingly patient with the children, followed by homemade tea and cake. We only stayed for a few days, but wished we could have stayed a lot longer! The only downside for us was the slightly steep cost of the oil and electricity, however we would definitely recommend Heckingham Manor, and will definitely be back.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your kind comments, you would be most welcome to return. The children were so well behaved and looked like they were thoroughly enjoying themselves! The oil and electric charge is by meter and is for 10 people. Guest have full use of the heating and there are 2 zones for upstairs and downstairs. These can be controlled easily to keep the cost down. Guest are told when they book that oil and electric are extra.
