Willow is wheelchair accessible and in the ideal location for exploring picturesque villages, the characterful town of Dorchester and the stunning beaches of Dorset.

In a peaceful, scenic location and ideal for walkers, these two carefully converted barns are delightfully named after the owners’ horses; Hebe (ref UKC2751) and Willow (ref UKC2752). Offering well-equipped single storey accommodation, with wheelchair access throughout, each enjoys its own large enclosed garden and patio area, as well as parking for two cars. Tastefully furnished throughout, they provide a great base for couples, families and dog walkers. They are surrounded by fields with bridleways, walking and cycling paths from the door into the valley, perfect for ramblers. Maiden Newton is about 2 miles away and has a newsagent, pub/restaurant, petrol station, general store, bakers, post office and a coffee shop. This popular part of west Dorset is ideal for exploring Dorchester, 6 miles away, Weymouth, Portland and the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
The county town of Dorchester has many family attractions including The Dorset County Museum, Dinosaur Museum, Tutankhamun Museum, Dorset Teddy Bear Museum, Terracotta Warriors and plenty of restaurants and shops. Further afield, discover Monkey World and The Tank Museum, or enjoy scenic walking along this famous coastline around Lulworth Cove or Chesil Beach, and on to Bridport, West Bay and Lyme Regis. Nearby Weymouth with its sandy beach offers a huge range of sporting activities from boating, sailing, swimming, windsurfing and fishing, or maybe a trip on the ferry to Guernsey or France from Poole harbour. Abbotsbury also makes for a good day out, with its renowned Swannery and Gardens. Also within easy driving distance are Sherborne with its two castles, the Cerne Abbas giant engraved on the hill and many historical places, such as Athelhampton House and Gardens, Minterne Gardens, Mapperton House and Gardens, Forde Abbey and Gardens, Parnham House and Kingston Maurwood. an immaculate cottage, just off the beaten track, excellent facilities especially for disabled and dog friendly. Difficult to be bettered

One of the best holiday cottages with disabled access we have ever stayed in. It has level wheelchair access two bedrooms both with en suite wet rooms. It is well equipped to a high standard. The heating appeared to be having some problems and was rather noisy but the owners are aware and looking into sorting it out.

Willow was a charming and beautifully equipped cottage in an attractive and very quiet location. It was, without a doubt, the best cf more than a few cottages that we have rented and I have no qualms about recommending it to others. The only downside, and it does seem to be somewhat of a quibble was that the cottage was superbly equipped for people with physical disabilities so it was a pity that the sofa and armchairs are on the low side which makes them something of a problem for the old and infirm.

A lovely break in fantastic accommodation, with everything we needed for a real home from home holiday. Extremely dog friendly with an enclosed garden, tiled/wooden floors throughout and throws to keep the furniture clean. Thanks to Robin and Vendela for the warm welcome, thoughtful treats on arrival and regular chats to check all was well.

We had a lovely time in a beautiful, modern and spotlessly clean cottage in a peaceful location in the middle of nature. It took 'dog friendly' to a whole new level and the owners were lovely. Didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back!

Willow is a spacious, modern holiday cottages with all the facilities needed for a family and also suitable for those with mobility difficulties. Everything is one one level, and the doors are wide, with both bathrooms being wet rooms. The garden is secure so you don’t have to worry about your dog finding a way out. Cottage is well equipped with large fridge, dishwasher, Tassimo machine plus a good TV with Sky. The setting is very peaceful with horses and sheep in nearby fields.
