Close to the Talisker Distillery, this detached property has a lochside setting, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby to enjoy.
This detached property lies in an elevated, saltwater lochside setting and offers stunning views over the waters of Loch Harport and on towards the Cuillin Hills beyond. This property has been equipped and furnished to high standard with such tasteful use of colour and textures, you will undoubtedly not want to leave at the end of your holiday. This peaceful and tranquil place offers a true ‘get away from it all experience’, whether you plan to explore the area or just enjoy the comfortable surroundings.

Both the Talisker Distillery, Skye’s oldest whisky distillery, and Carbost Inn (which has regular live music) are only a short distance away. The Minginish Peninsula has much to offer and there is superb walking for all abilities, as well as the Cullins mountain range for experienced climbers. Of interest too, are Talisker Bay, Glenbrittle Beach and the Fairy Pools. Various craft shops and art galleries on the island offer good browsing for visitors, but it is the scenery and the changing light that makes this area so dramatic. Take a trip to Dunvegan with its castle and gardens, and from there take a walk along the coast to the Coral Beach – a really super day out.

Visit the dramatic scenery of the Trotternish Ridge and the Old Man of Storr to the north east and on to Portree, the island’s colourful and bustling ‘capital’. You will find a great range of shops, art galleries and craft shops here along with some great places where you can have something to eat and drink. Explore some of the many quiet, unspoilt beaches where you may catch a glimpse of the varied array of bird and wildlife. Towards the southern end of the island you will reach the Sleat Peninsula, known as the ‘Garden of Skye’, where you can visit Armadale Castle and gardens. The whole island is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise with many activities available, including kayaking, sea cruises, fishing trips, hill walking and mountain climbing in the dramatic Cuillins, as well as mountain biking on some great tracks. The less energetic can sit back and relax watching the ever-changing scenery from the comfort of their chair. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
