A lovely, homely and warm bungalow, spotlessly clean, our dogs were made very welcome. Gorgeous setting with beautiful views, only downer was sketchy wifi. A really nice stay in the grounds of a farm. Would definitely stay again.

Margaret made our family feel most welcome and we would have no hesitation in returning following a wonderful visit. She met us on arrival & showed us round the cottage, kindly leaving a welcome tray with lovely homemade butterfly cream cakes & bakewell slices. She highlighted availability of a table tennis table in the garage alongside access to pool, darts & table football which the children thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The cottage itself was extremely homely & comfortable. Some notable points :- - WiFi was very responsive & allowed the children to stream YouTube. - Both bathrooms had superb power showers. The location of the property was also first class and only minor downside is that the country road was slightly busier than we expected & pavements were either in poor condition or disappeared in places adjacent to the road linking Longridge & Hurst Green for those visitors hoping to enjoy walking as part of their break. That said, there are plenty of footpaths in the local area worth exploring that are fairly accessible.

Our 14th visit and it never disappoints. Lovely welcome from Margaret. This year we also had some beautiful weather and spent time in the gardens that are superbly cared for by Margaret. Have already booked for next year.
