Come and discover Hazel Grove Cottages, set within the owner’s grounds with sweeping views down over the Pembrokeshire countryside, and only a 10-minute drive from the sublime coastline that this beautiful area of West Wales has to offer. This superb collection of six cottages is just a 5-minute walk from the rural hamlet of Red Roses, on the border between Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, where you can enjoy some home cooked food and some locally brewed ales in a traditional Welsh pub.
Hazel Grove is approached via a bridle path/farm lane, which continues south where you can reach the coastline and join the 186 miles of picturesque Pembrokeshire Coast Path to reach Marros Beach, Amroth and the 7 miles of endless golden sands from Pendine. Here the land speed record was achieved by Malcolm Campbell and you can step back in time at the Museum of Speed on the waterfront.
Lavender Cottage is one of three attached cottages all on the ground floor and was once a busy milking parlour. Boasting a contemporary feel throughout and newly built in 2021, this lovely property offers a bright and airy space throughout with a raised terrace off the open plan living space which enjoys views south facing views over open fields, ideal for dining al fresco or catching some sunshine. Each bedroom has been lovingly furnished and offers zip and link beds for flexible sleeping.
Locally, the famous walled town of Tenby is within a 20-minute drive with cobbled streets, a stunning beach and boat trips to Caldey Island. Colby Woodland Gardens, a National Trust managed woodlands and craft centre, is a must see with a fantastic flora display along with acres of woodlands to explore. Beach 3 miles. Shop and petrol station 1 mile, pub, and restaurant 400 yards.
Lavender Cottage can be booked together with Bluebell Cottage (ref UK35194), Fern Cottage (ref UK35195), Stable Cottage (ref UK6572), Rose Cottage (ref UK6573) and Meadow View (UK6574) to accommodate up to 16 guests.
