This is a lovely little cottage, very clean and tidy, and the small garden at the front is very nice on a sunny evening. The inside is deceptively spacious, and it was well equipped. It is up a narrow lane, which takes a bit of getting used to, but we only ever met any traffic on the wider section. The local pub is welcoming and serves a good traditional menu. It's just over a mile away, and we did walk it, but it took us about 25 minutes. There's a small supermarket in the village, and bigger ones in St Austell, which is about a 10 minute drive away. It's very well placed for visiting things - our highlights were the St Austell Brewery tour, the Eden Project, and National Trust houses Trerice and Lanhydrock - all of these were within half an hour's drive.
