Lovely Cottage in a quiet and peaceful location. The Cottage was spotlessly clean and had good facilities. The owner was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

This was our second stay at Harkaway Cottage. The premises are beautifully-kept, the accommodation ground-floor with spacious and easily accessible rooms including walk-in shower making this an ideal retreat for anyone with limited mobility. There is a shared garden with outdoors seating and a laundry room so you can be self-sufficient throughout your stay. The owner is always on hand and ready to help. An ideal base for exploring southwest Ireland: Cork City within an hour’s drive and the Cork Racing Course Mallow even closer. Mallow, just ten minutes’ drive from Harkaway, has excellent shopping facilities, both local stores and supermarkets including the excellent Dunnes Stores in the Market Place. The location is rural but not isolated. A perfect combination and a perfect cottage.
