Having stayed at Harcombe Cottage last year, we returned knowing that we would enjoy the facilities the house affords, as well as the convenience of the local bus service and easy access to places of interest in the area. We were also blessed with the best week of the year for weather, so far, and that made it an even better experience.

Very comfortable cottage, well provisioned. Not the greatest location, but proximity of engineering works was fully disclosed on site, so no complaints there! Actually we heard nothing from them except opening the gate at 7.30 am! Otherwise the location is good, being in walking distance of sea front, Tesco supermarket and all local amenities. We didn't have the best weather, but enjoyed the week nevertheless.

Clean, comfortable and spacious, well presented and fully equipped. Piles of books and puzzles for a rainy day, toys for the children. Luxurious leather settee and armchairs. Caring and thoughtful owner has provided everything you need for a truly relaxing holiday. Visitor's book speaks for itself with page after page of satisfied customers.

The beauty of this holiday let was it's close proximity to local amenities - Seaton Promenade literally begins a few hundred yards away - the small Town is within easy walking distance { 15 mins } as is the Harbour - there are a few shops and a local pub again along a close section of the Promenade. A large Tesco Supermarket just 5 mins away. { next door is The Tramway and a lovely day out on the old Trams - look this up as interesting day out. Good bus service operates close by. Sidmouth and Lyme Regis well worth visiting The Town House itself is not attractively located - but so convenient to a wealth of beauty spots. The beds are comfortable and the shower room is in new condition and most functional Downstairs furniture is quite old but of good quality - settees are recliners . Kitchen area is fully functional and the generosity of the owner with many things is very good The lounge as a wealth of books - toys - jigsaws - games and many more We had no problem with wi - fi - we took our laptop and it worked perfectly as did our phones There is only a small courtyard - but owner as left table and chairs with parasol in the shed which was ideal given the warm weather. We go on several Cottage holidays a year, and although much prettier than this property non have compared with the close proximity to so many useful amenities and beautiful places within easy travelling distances. The Town House is not perfect by any means and there is a small operational unit next door - very little disturbance from this and only daytime. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would holiday here again
