On booking Harbour Cottage we were a little dubious of it’s location. However, it is tucked away under the owners house, overlooks woodland and is quite secluded given its position on the edge of a housing estate. It is a great location for exploring the area being closer to the main roadson the outskirts of Hastings (avoiding the torturous one way systems and old roads in the town). The owners were away for the first week of our stay and were very discrete when they were there. They were very friendly and flexible re check in times. The property is very modern and well appointed throughout. While it was not huge there was plenty of space for the two of us and our dog (the owners even supplied a dog blanket!). The kitchen was well set up with utensils etc and the two bathrooms were really good as well. The heating is extremely good (we visited in February). Towels and linen were great too. We had a very restful break at Harbour Cottage and really enjoyed exploring West Sussex and Kent.

The cottage was lovely, spacious and ideal for a weekend of relaxation. Little details were thought about and it made the weekend more enjoyable. A little stroll away from the bannatyne spa and in close proximity to shops and the coast for a lovely stroll and some seafood. Overall a wonderful 3 night stay.

We had such a happy time at harbour lodge. There is loads to do nearby that suited both our 13 and 1 year old. Hot tub was amazing and owners lovely. They had done some really thoughtful touches.

Lovely place to stay, well looked after and clearly thoughtful owners who left some snacks and tea/coffee/milk which was really nice to arrive to after a long drive. Obviously you do have to drive everywhere but we were expecting that. Very private and the hot tub is lovely.

Strange set up , sitting in the owners garden whilst they sat on a veranda overlooking the garden. apartment was' work in progress' the main entrance had unfinished work by the gate, the garden terrace had an unfinished terrace with out railings to a large drop, garden photographs very cleverly taken to avoid showing this. apartment very clean and had everything we needed hot tub placed in a summer house/garden shed , this ensured privacy
