Situated close to Llandudno’s quieter West Shore, Hafod Wen provides a light and airy holiday home for up to five people with views of the Great Orme. Bring your bucket and spade as it’s only a short walk to the West Shore beach. There’s a model railway, a children’s playground, and a pleasant beach café too.Llandudno town centre is just a half mile walk away, or you can use public transport. Here you will find a vast range of shopping opportunities, the famous pier and Punch & Judy, a range of delightful eateries, evening entertainment from choirs and bands, and the Venue Cymru Theatre. Explore the Great Orme by the only cable hauled street tramway or the longest cable car ride in Britain. Visit the 4,000 year old copper mines – and marvel at the view from the summit (see if you can spot the Isle of Man!). Drive round the scenic Marine Drive and marvel at the views out to sea.This is a great base for touring north Wales, and just a few minutes’ drive away is historic Conwy with its almost complete town walls, merchants houses and quay, offering boat trips. Bodnant Gardens is another place worth visiting, or for the more adventurous, try the Zip Wire, one of the country’s longest zip wires.Betws y Coed and Swallow Falls are not to be missed, or why not take the train journey up Mount Snowdon? The beauty of the Isle of Anglesey with its 125 miles of coastline, or the pretty Conwy Valley, offering the worlds first inland surfing lagoon at Surf Snowdonia are well worth a visit. There are 5 golf courses in the area, the nearest within ½ mile. The nearest bus stop is just 300 yards away if you prefer to leave your car behind. Beach 100 yards. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
