Enjoyed it so much, we will be back again for sure. We wanted quiet, cosy & remote and it checks all the boxes. Adrian was also very helpful, on hand and provided everything we needed, very much appreciated. We holiday on Anglesey every two months and have to say this was probs my our favourite cottage. Lovely home that we’ll be back in many times.

This was our first visit to this clean, well equipped, well maintained, comfortable cottage located in central Anglesey. Most places in Anglesey can be reached in about a 20/25 mins drive and Snowdonia is just a little further. The cottage is located on a quite farm in the middle of the countryside and apart from Adrian and family (next door) and the cows, rabbits and hares there are no other neighbours. It is so peaceful! Adrian welcomed us when we arrived. He was unobtrusive during our stay but willing to share his knowledge of the area and recommend places to visit when asked. Would definitely return and recommend Hafod cottage to others.

We have just returned from this cottage and had a fabulous warm week in Anglesey. Adrian (A Drain) or maybe Ad rain … is such a happy, chatty, jokey chap with a wry sense of humour. He advised us on where things were - Asda, paper shop, best Chinese etc, showed us all the things in the cottage - replaced a bulb when it blew. We were a group of 4 Me and My partner, my mum who has problems with arthritic knees and my father out law who is a few months off 90…. We specifically booked the cottage as it appeared spacious - had enough bathrooms and was on one level. It suited everyone’s needs. It is quiet on a working farm, peaceful - away from other houses - just Adrian’s - off the road on a long driveway - which we encountered a Hare, quails ? And a couple of rabbits ! We cooked in the cottage, played cards, laughed a lot. The bed we were in had a new mattress ! So was all comfy. I have already recommended to my friend who has dogs - it’s such a central location it suited us as we went out every day to do things - and at the end of the day it was always a welcome home… lovely - glad we booked. Thank you Adrian

Beautiful spot, very private and owner friendly. Could be a really lovely place to stay. Amazing wildlife and so quiet. but in all honesty the cottage needs a really good clean. The en suite had mould behind the loo and the sink tap was dirty. The mattresses are awful and so uncomfortable they really need replacing and the pillows totally flat. There was nowhere fenced so we could let the dogs out and the hardcore outside hurt your feet to walk on. Bit dissapointed to be honest. We came home a day early as just couldnt face another night on the bed.

Nice cottage, on a working farm and therefore very rural. Accommodated 4 adults although one was in a bunk bed. Only drawback was no secure area for our dog outside, this would have allowed us to make use of the outdoor seating as could not let him off lead on farm.
