On leaving the house head up hill and enjoy a walk past an historic site and round a bend on the headland there's a terrific view across the bay from quite a height, given decent weather. Start the descent and you can join up with the coastal path on the stony beach next to the slate mine now closed. That's the sum of the travel we did in the village, except crossing the road to the carpark. More walking we found at Morfa Nefyn and Trefor. A good day out at Pwellhi. The house is comfortable and spacious enough for two. Quite well furnished and the kitchen has everything you need. I found a good book of poetry on the shelf in the sitting room.
