We had a lovely May week at the cottage. The views are just sublime, so peaceful to just look out over the marina and the boats. The garden is such a relaxing spot. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and had everything you could wish for, I particularly liked the herb and spice selection, whilst our five year old enjoyed the cuddly sheep and dominoes. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area. Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Gorgeous and well maintained place. Pity one bathroom out of use be we was informed before going. Fantastic views but had elderly parents with us who struggled with the driveway. Lovely little extras left for our arrival much appreciated.

Great location and view, but sadly this is NOT 5 star accommodation. Received text two days before arrival that one of the main bathrooms was out of action so we had one en-suite and one shower room which 3 teenagers had to share! TV never worked and it takes more than a Smeg fridge to impress.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner. This guest arrived at 10 am, 11am & 2 pm expecting to gain access to Gwel an Porth. The cleaners and caretaker were still preparing the property and we would remind guests that check in is from 3pm, this so that we can maintain our high standards in preparation for guests’ arrival. The television was fully functioning brand new 50" smart TV and we offered assistance within minutes of his text. It was unfortunate that 1 of the bathrooms was not in use, however there were 2 other fully functioning with Bath & shower. Gwel is a fabulous contemporary property in a stunning location as per all other guest reviews.

This is a lovely property, which is so much nicer than the pictures. The view from the house is stunning, looking over the estuary and the sea, with lots of boats moving about. The house is all on one level, well equipped and perfect for a family. It's within easy walking distance to the shops and places to eat. Falmouth is a great place to stay - we were a family of mixed ages and we all had a lovely time.
