Welcome Cottages

A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

After a day exploring the beautiful Norfolk coastline or taking a boat trip to see the seals, just relax in your own hot tub.

Located on the North Norfolk Coast, this traditional terraced cottage boasts an enclosed courtyard garden with hot tub. It stands alongside the coast road in the centre of Morston village across the way from a Michelin-starred restaurant, and a few minutes’ stroll to the quay and village pub. Daily boat trips are available to visit the basking seal colony and Blakeney Point (NT). If it’s an ideal day at the beach you’re after, Wells-next-the-Sea is highly recommended. Just 6 ½ miles away, Wells beach features colourful beach huts, beautiful golden sands and even a little train to transport you from the car park to the beach. Alternatively, Holkham’s vast sandy beach is just 9 miles. A few minutes’ drive are the beautiful coastal villages of Blakeney and Cley-next-the-Sea. The more energetic may wish to tackle the coastal walk, which follows the seashore. There is easy access to the nearby salt marshes home to RSPB wildlife sanctuaries. The historic town of Holt, 7 miles, offers a range of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafés and weekly markets, and Holt Lowes, is an area renowned for wildlife, designated as both a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and Special Area of Conservation. Also worth a visit is Holt Country Park with its wealth of bird life, as well as other RSPB reserves. The region has several stately homes such as NT Blickling and Felbrigg Halls, Holkham Hall and the Royal Sandringham Estate. Other places of interest include the Walsingham Shrine and Priory ruins. Sheringham offers golf and is home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash aqua pool, and a promenade. The city of Norwich, 29 miles, is excellent for shopping, restaurants, cathedral, theatre, pubs, cinema and markets. Windsurfing, dinghy launching, sailing and boat trips are all available locally. Shop 2 miles, pub 100 yards, restaurant 45 yards.

Lovely comfortable cottage, well equipped and well heated for an old property, spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. What more would you want? A pub serving great food within walking distance and a Michelin starred restaurant round the corner! Would definitely recommend !
