We had a lovely time in Portland, the only reason I would not stay here again is the road noise and the slightly musty smell that followed us home. Otherwise everything else was perfect, this cottage is very clean and has got everything you need for a home away from home but the road noise is very bad and the pub across the road is quite noisy.

Great cottage, so well laid out and everything you could ever need! Very helpful owners too. Only downside is the main road location which gets pretty busy, but soon get used to the traffic noise. Would definitely use again or one of their other cottages on Portland. Thankyou.

The cottage has all you need and is conveniently placed in Portland right by the bus route to Weymouth. An easy walk to the coastal paths and the Portland lighthouse. If you're not too bothered by the sound of passing cars, I'd highly recommend. If that seems like it could be a bother to you, I'd recommend a less visited location.

A great small cottage. Easy access to the climbing, the purpose of our stay. Good pub next door. Few minutes walk to well stocked supermarket. Only downside was very low water pressure in shower. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage, well kitted out with the bits and pieces that are often not found in holiday cottages. Hot tub (which we booked cottage for after location). Only downsides are p which we had issues with a couple of times, esp on arrival day. Would note that the cottage does not have central heating as was stated on the details when we looked at and booked - instead electric log burner and electric radiators in each room. Cottage was quite cold when we arrived, think perhaps empty the week before we came as it did warm up (or we got used to it) by the end of the weekend.

The cottage was really well equipped and very clean and well presented. We were competing at a sailing event so we were really close to our venue. The utility room was really useful for our wet sailing kit and the hot tub was great to relax in after long days on the water. Only down side is the roadside parking however we were able to park very close to the house at most times. The kitchen is small but well equipped and really clean. The bedrooms were comfortable and a good size. Overall we were really pleased with our accommodation for the week.
