Weymouth is 20 minutes away with its many places of interest including the Sea Life Adventure Park, Sandworld Sculpture Park and Sandsfoot Castle. Dorchester, the county town of Dorset, is a 30-minute drive and has many places of interest, including Dorset County Museum, Max Gate, Thomas Hardy’s house, and The Teddy Bear Museum. Both Weymouth and Dorchester have many shops, restaurants and cafés. Bovington Tank Museum and Monkey World are 45 minutes away and are well worth a visit. Beach 1½ miles.
