Lovely quirky cottage which had that homely feeling as soon as you entered due to the thoughtfulness of the owners in providing a welcome pack (wine and biscuits) and the Stanley cooker having warmed the whole cottage. It felt like I was coming home. We were in the area due to the Nottingham water sports centre Sprint kayaking regatta, so didn't have a lot of time to explore the area, but having looked at the leaflets available at the cottage I feel that a return to the area and this cottage is inevitable in the future. Thank you very much.

Lovely cosy cottage very quiet handy for good pub The Earl of Chesterfield nearby and the River Trent at Gunthorpe Bridge with its short walk views and eateries. Well equipped but no room for a dishwasher, all else perfect. The spring mattress was an acquired taste, but we all slept v well. AA have a good circular walk nearby at Lambley. We shopped and got papers at East Bridgfird. Nice to be on a farm with sheep st the back of cottage. Lovely views from upstairs and cottage spacious upstairs too.

Cottage was fine for what we needed, one or two minor issues which have been brought to attention. Very helpful and welcoming owners. Would stay again.
