Ideal for lovers of the great outdoors the Tissington trail and High Peak Trails are close by for cyclists and walkers of all abilities, as is the Limestone Way Walk. Being central within the National Park means that a whole host of attractions are within easy reach including the afore mentioned Buxton and Bakewell which can be reached in a mere 10–15 minute drive. Matlock and Ashbourne are around a 20–25 minute drive and Edale, Castleton and the Hope Valley around half an hour away.
