Lovely Cottage very quiet location. Garden was enclosed which was great for our dog. Close to the coast and other places of interest. Would certainly recommend.

Really enjoyed the cottage and location, owner did ring to say previous people had mislaid the key so the cleaner hadnt got in but it was fine we didnt mind giving the floor a quick hoover and mop. Super quiet and peaceful, well looked after and loved cottage. Recommended.

Lovely little cottage, but a bit difficult for tall people. The dining room ceiling is only six feet high, and we had to bend double to get into lounge. Many bruised heads!

the cottage suited our needs very well. four of us were attending the annual 40's weekend at Sheringham and holt. first impressions were excellent. this got even better onca inside. the owners seemed to have provided just about everything. décor and decoration was really good, sofas were a bit tired but comfy. only problem, the stairs , although we did manage. our ages ranged from 52 to 75. so the eldest ( me ) had a slight problem. however, would definately recommend to others. hopefully may book again for next year.

A quaint cottage convenient for Sheringham and Cromer. Well-stocked and comfortable but let down by whoever cleaned it prior to our arrival.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We have spoken with the guests and will be passing the comments on to our cleaning team. Thank you for your feedback.

Very clean ,comfortable cottage with great Shower room. Full stock of utensils etc. However as a couple in our 70's we found the stairs a bit of a problem hence why we would not return but would be great for a younger family. Lack of Phone signal or WiFi also marks it down a little.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. Yes phone signal can be a problem depending on network used. We find you can pick up good access whilst out and about. The stairs have handrails for guests use.

cottage appeared clean when we first arrived on closer inspection blinds dirty, bugs on window still, sides of cooker very dirty, kitchen top overrun by ants. The owners thought about special touches, bathroom had toiletries kitchen well stocked with utensils, they had an information file, and a first aid box. unfortunately I had to use it badly burnt my hand on log fire door handle. The stairs very dangerous I slipped down them banged my knee on door frame, my daughter went down them too. sitting room step very steep. sofa and beds need replacing. The outside light and hand rail in bathroom didn't work. parking space at bottom useful unable to turn car if you take it up to cottage. The owners contacted me before my visit which was a nice, they even contacted me when I messaged them saying I couldn't get in. The cottage is well decorated, with lots of nice touches.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Apologies regarding ants, they obviously turned up after our cleaning team had serviced cottage. We have had no further problems. The cooker and blinds are cleaned periodically and this has now been rectified. There are tools/gloves available to use when the wood burning stove is in use. Stairs are a little steep in keeping with a cottage of this age; however we do have handrails and would advise guests to use them. There is a step down between the sitting room and dining area. The outside light works on a movement sensor and needs to be switched on in the first instance, switch in lobby. Likewise, the towel rail works on a timer switch and also needs to be switched on as per instructions in our guide. The cottage is well equipped and positive feedback is appreciated.
