We had a lovely week here, unfortunately the weather wasn't brilliant, but that's the luck of the draw. The cottage itself was comfy and well equipped and when we broke our charger within minutes of arriving, the owners very kindly lent us theirs for the duration of our stay. A great base with lots of interesting places nearby to visit, but hadn't realised how far it was to a shop, which we never found open! Lovely friendly family, thanks for a great week :-) xx

We had a wonderful week in Whales over Christmas. The Cottage was welcoming and cozy and the wood burner was huge and kept the cottage warm. We had a few inches of snow which made the stay pretty much perfect.

Nice Location in the countryside, the property could do with a sign on the main road to allow the property to be found easier. The property is next door to the owners which you can clearly hear through connecting doors. the kitchen is quite dark could do with better lighting over the oven/stove. the stairs are quite steep and uneven I know its an old property but could be unstable for older people. the front bedroom needs a lick of paint, cracked walls and damp above wardrobes. but nothing too concerning as its an old property. the property is ideal for a quick weekend away and having chickens appear at the door in the morning for food is quite amusing our dog was quite fascinated with them.

The view from the cottage was excellent. The location was very rural which is just what we wanted. The garden area with a table was super for sitting/eating/drinking outside. Plenty to do and see in the area.
