Great Trevillian Farm is a working sheep farm and offers a well-stocked carp lake for a spot of fishing, a children’s play area and the opportunity to feed Boris and Donald the Kune Kune pigs and pat the friendly ponies.
Tizzy Barn (CWC488161) is a beautiful barn conversion that boasts superb open plan living downstairs yet maintains a traditional feel. Located a few miles inland from Crackington Haven which has pebbles and rock pools at the top of the beach but as the tide goes out a vast expanse of golden sand is exposed with some of the best surf on the north coast.
To the north is Widemouth bay and the bustling tourist town of Bude while to the west is the stunning and infamous village Boscastle, nestled in a steep valley where the river has cut a course through the steep cliffs to the sea. There are secluded coves, majestic views, wildlife and even a blowhole. Tintagel is 8 miles away and boasts a magnificent new footbridge to reach the castle on a single level and has made the journey to the headland significantly easier. Beach 5 miles.
