There is plenty to do in and around the lodge site, perfect for those who love wide open spaces, the freshness and clarity of scented air and breath-taking views around every corner. Ramble through the magnificent solitude of Scottish Glens and hills or up onto the slopes for a fine day’s skiing, try the many golf courses or fish the promising waters. On-site, there is year-round access to Loch Oich and outdoor activities are available locally via Active Highs. Passing behind the site is The Great Glen Way, a coast-to-coast route for walkers and cyclists from Fort William to Inverness along the banks of the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness. The Invergarry railway museum and working engine is just behind the site and Fort Augustus, a charming village which sits at the bottom of Loch Ness, is only 8 miles away. For skiers and mountain bikers, the Nevis Range is under 30minutes’ drive. You will be spoilt for choice for activities available nearby including golf, fishing, cycling, walking, white water rafting and so much more.
