This beautiful two bedroomed lodge is spacious and welcoming and in a stunning lochside setting. The patio doors open from the living room onto a brick patio which has a picnic bench and unobstructed views of Loch Oich, perfect to relax and unwind. The lodge can easily accommodate a family of four or is equally ideal for a couple with an open plan living area with fully equipped kitchen diner. Wi-Fi, TV for playing DVDs with a range of DVD’s to choose from and family games for your enjoyment. There are two cosy bedrooms, with a master bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite shower room, and a second bedroom with two full sized single beds, served by a family bathroom.
There is plenty to do in and around the lodge site, perfect for those who love wide open spaces, the freshness and clarity of scented air and breath-taking views around every corner. Ramble through the magnificent solitude of Scottish Glens and hills or up onto the slopes for a fine day’s skiing, try the many golf courses or fish the promising waters. On-site, there is year-round access to Loch Oich and in high season, there is a water sports company based nearby via Active Highs offering multiple activities. Passing behind the site is The Great Glen Way, a coast-to-coast route for walkers and cyclists from Fort William to Inverness along the banks of the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness. Close by is the Inver Garry railway museum and working engine. You can access guided fishing trips and walks locally to assist your exploration of the beautiful Highlands. Just 8 miles away, is the small Highland village of Fort Augustus on the most southern tip of Loch Ness, and with the Caledonian Canal running through the village to Loch Ness. It’s a wonderful place to relax, watch the boats go through the locks, with many places to eat and drink and shop. There is so much to do and see, visiting castles, whisky trails, craft centres, museums, wildlife parks, nature reserves and with Loch Ness on the doorstep. Take a boat trip on this world-famous stretch of water and you never know ’Nessie’ might rise to the occasion.
