Sitting on the banks of Loch Oich, Glen Muir Lodge provides an ideal spot for groups to enjoy this incredible setting whilst having access to Scotland’s most beautiful, and popular, areas nearby. This property has two bedrooms in total. The master bedroom complete with mood lighting has a double bed, two bedside tables with drawers, a fitted wardrobe, and an en suite shower room with underfloor heating. The second bedroom has two full sized single beds, wardrobes and the main bathroom has a bath with shower over and underfloor heating. There is an open plan fully equipped kitchen which extends to the living area. The dining area has a lovely wooden dining table and chairs and there are comfortable sofas in the living area for enjoying the panoramic view whilst relaxing. On the rear of the lodge is a ski rack for those bringing their own skis in the winter season. The patio door opens onto a brick patio with a lovely table and chairs for four people and offers uninterrupted views of Loch Oich.
At the back of the site is the Great Glen Way, which is the coast-to-coast route for walkers and cyclists which goes from Fort William to Inverness along the banks of the Caledonian Canal, including Loch Ness. There is access to Loch Oich and and the Invergarry railway museum and working engine is just behind the site. Fort Augustus, a charming village which sits at the bottom of Loch Ness, is only 8 miles away. For skiing, the Nevis Range is about a 30-minute drive. You’ll be spoilt for choice for activities available nearby including golf, fishing, cycling, walking, white water rafting and so much more!
