Would have scored more but there were a few issues which require attention in the cottage. We stayed in the cottage over a snowy weekend with minus temperatures and we were informed on arrival that the central heating was not working. The electric fire in the lounge was the only heat in the cottage and this was not enough to heat the property. The toilet seat had a large split in it which is not very hygenic. The issues of the poor flushing toilet, broken light switch above the bed and the cob webs which had been mentioned on previous reviews was still evident. The cottage is advertised has having a log fuelled hot tub, but this is not the case as it is heated by electricity and was not up to temperature when we arrived at the cottage on the first evening. On a positive note, the cottage is well stocked with all the equipment and utensils you would expect. The cottage is a decent size for two people and decorated to a good standard. It is located in a very quiet location and is ideal if you just want to have a relaxing break away from everything. The bottle of bubbly left in the fridge by the owner was a nice touch

Lovely cottage , very quiet and peaceful location. Sadly there was lots of cobwebs ,the toilet didnt flush properly, the pull switch above the bed came away from the ceiling, the hot tup wasnt up to temperature on first night so couldn't use it. The second night it was far to hot, so couldn't use it again.

The cottage was quite small and not what I expected. The hot tub wasn’t working and therefore there was not much to do. I’m the booklet it says there is now tv which we could watch free films on but this didn’t work either. We rang the owner to find out about it and they sent their son round who said he didn’t know what was wrong and there was no follow up.
