Granary Cottage in Mickleton makes a superb base from which to explore Chipping Campden, Broadway and Stow-on-the-Wold.

This terraced, upside down, converted granary boasts thoughtfully furnished and decorated accommodation, with a warm and welcoming feel. Mickleton is home to the world famous ’Pudding Club’, which is held in one of the local inns. The village church has a 14th-century tower and spire and an unusual 17th-century, two-storey porch. From the door you can join a circular walk which leads up the hill from the church to Kiftsgate, Hidcote Manor Garden, and then up onto Ilmington Downs before coming back down again. There is also a pleasant walk leading southwards, over the hill to Chipping Campden, passing close to the southern entrance to Campden Railway Tunnel. A superb holiday location for exploring and enjoying the many Cotswold attractions amid lovely scenery. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
