Lovely cottage in a secluded location. Plenty of room and seating for all the guests. Situated on a farm but surprisingly quiet. However just a few things that let the holiday down. Considering the location and the fact that nowhere is close by there was no welcome pack or anything like milk or dishwasher tablets to get you started. Some teabags, no coffee or sugar. There is a coffee machine so we bought ground coffee but then found there was no filter paper. We were told to pay £25 for fuel, but we aren't sure if this was simply for the wood for the fire, which we wouldn't have used if not paid as we didn't particularly need the fire on. Considering we weren't there in warm weather, there were flies all over the place which is very off-putting. The cottage has high ceilings which I appreciate are difficult to clean but there were huge cobwebs everywhere. We didn't really see the owners for them to ask if everything was okay. Nice cottage but just a few things

Lovely and relaxed hosts. Beautiful and huge house. Massive paddock for dogs. Horse riding on site. Central to many lovely villages although a bit of a drive from main roads.
