Graces Reteat was a perfect retreat for me and my wife very well equipped with everything you think you will need and things you would have not thought about We didn’t have much interaction with owners we would have preferred a bit more but I know it’s hard for them to get a balance right one tip if you’re planning on using log burner turn off all radiators as it gets VERY hot very quick All in all a very pleasant weekend 😀👍

Lovely cottage with all the amenities you could want. Cosy lounge with well appointed kitchen, comfortable bedroom with en suite. The hosts are great. There are lovely views from the window, secure parking, easy access to coast and countryside attractions, really good restaurants within a short walk of the cottage. All in all a really nice place to stay and we will be going back there.

Wow, what a lovely place, we really enjoyed our time at Grace’s Retreat, very relaxing place, well appointed and comfortable, the owners have really thought of everything you might need, even left some supplies to start you off. And it’s Dog Friendly too! This is probably the nicest place we have EVER stayed! Our only disappointment was, that we couldn’t have stayed LONGER than our two nights!! Just on the edge of a lovely village, within a short stroll of several pubs and nice restaurants , easy to find and convenient for places of interest around the area, what more could you want for a break from home. We would love to come back...if we can get it looks very popular! Highly recommended!

Loved our stay in this romantic cottage in the village of Hurworth. The local restaurants were amazing and despite the weather we had a great time. The owners were lovely and so helpful - they even provided us with a complimentary bottle of wine! Would thoroughly recommend for a romantic couple getaway.

Spent a long weekend in Grace's Retreat when visiting the North East. The property is mostly well equiped and very comfortable. We very much like to self cater and the kitchen area was on the small for preparation, but certainly adequate for a long weekend. Lovely owners. Easy to reach lots of places.

Break away that was long overdue so looked for some where for peace, dog walking and relaxation. Grace's retreat not only provide them but also fantastic owner, fabulous location and stunning scenery. Hurworth is a lovely place for a break providing local amenities, pubs and some great food, Otter and Fish. I wanted to stay longer and definitely will return and recommend.
