Rarely do I give a 10- but this place is exactly that. We were welcomed warmly by Paddy and Mark to the idylic and immaculate Gosling Barn and spent a wonderful week in the sun. Paddy and Mark are superb hosts, who provided a small dinner for us on arrival which was delicious and thoughtful. Furthermore they advised us on some lovely days out and allowed our three small dogs free reign around the cottage. They truly go the extra mile for their guests and this makes Gosling Barn stand out. We would love to return in the spring. Visitors will not be disappointed.

A really top quality eco-friendly barn conversion, excellently kitted out and well designed. Very comfortable and cosy even in deep December. Remarkably spacious and easily accommodated four of us plus 2 dogs. Owners near at hand and very helpful. Good location for access to nice walking areas with Lopham and Redgrave nature reserve 10 minutes walk away. About an hour from the coast at Southwold but worth the trip. Ours was a short stay over Xmas but would happily have stayed there longer. Barn was originally designed as an annexe for a elderly family member, so it is very accessible for the less mobile.

LOVED our time at Gosling Barn. Excellent location as a base for day trips; lovely owners who gave us a Welcome gift of a meal, home pressed apple juice and amazing eggs laid by the Hens roaming the garden. Actual cottage was a great size, really spacious and so lovely to have items provided such as dishwasher tabs, toilet roll etc. I would highly recommend this place to others with or without children. Such a great, calm and beautiful place to unwind.
