The Golden Eagle has a large open plan living area, which is ideal for family gathering and large group stays. The property has two double bedrooms each with en suite shower rooms, two twin bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge which is only recommended for 1 adult or 2 children. All come with top quality linen and towels provided. It has a fully fitted designer kitchen with quality appliances and utensils and a generous expanse of surfaces ideal for the keen cook. This beautiful property is finished to the highest standard and has the added feature of an indoor sauna to relax in after a active day out skiing or hill waking in the Cairngorm National Park. After your sauna you can snuggle up by with a wee dram or hot drink by the large wood burning stove. There will be a welcome basket of logs, kindling and firer lighters ready for you at the property for your first night’s fire during October-April. If you would like to use the fire out of season we are happy for you to do so, just pop into our reception and ask for some logs.
Both young and old guests will be excited to hear the whistle and hiss of steam as the beautiful vintage Strathspey Steam Train chugs slowly by at the bottom of the garden. You can take a ride on this train from the Aviemore station which is just a 10-minute walk from your property. The steam train runs regularly between Aviemore, Boat-of-Garten and Broomhill station.
