As a regular visitor to Glenloch Cottage I would suggest that the mattress on the double bed in the smaller bedroom is replaced. You can feel the springs through it making it rather uncomfortable. Otherwise it's a lovely place to stay, cosy & comfortable.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thanks, I will definitely change that mattress.

We had a great time staying at Glenloch Cottage. The location is fantastic, with easy access to Inverness, Fort William and the many sights in the area. The road along the Loch is a feast for the eyes so we were really glad to have picked Drumnadrochit as our base. The cottage was easy to get to and we were able to park right outside - much appreciated as with 2 young children we were not travelling light! The cottage is at the end of a small close and it’s then just an uninterrupted view to the hills, which we loved. The kitchen was well equipped and we really appreciated having a decent sized fridge-freezer, which makes a huge difference when shopping and cooking for a family for a week. The only slight drawback was that there was a shower but no bath - not an issue for the adults but a bit tricky with a 13-month old! (We just hosed her down occasionally and let her get a bit grubby... 😉) The decor in the cottage is a little dated but we valued location, comfort and amenities much more highly and would definitely stay there again if we come back to the area.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for your input. We will certainly look at changing the decor. With regards to the tub, we took it out 2 years ago and put in a double shower. We will buy a baby tub soon. Thanks for your custom.

Addition of a dishwasher is a great help & so some more mugs, cutlery etc would be good. Some towels should be replaced I use this Cottage 2/3 times a year as I have family in the area.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for your custom. Thanks for your input for improving facilities for guests, I will do that.
